Tzu-Min Lee

Taiwan-born pianist and composer Tzu Min Lee was born in 1988 in Kaohsiung and now resides in Vienna. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in classical piano, she discovered a passion for jazz and honed her skills through further studies. From 2012 to 2014, she studied jazz piano at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in Israel and went on to earn a diploma with distinction from the Vienna Conservatory in 2015. From 2016 to 2020, she completed jazz piano and instrument pedagogy studies at Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz under teacher Dejan Pecenko.

Tzu Min is currently active in several musical groups, including the award-winning trio VICTHAMIN and the Bruckner Uni Big Band, and MAMMA FATALE. In 2018, she won the city of Linz art grant with VICTHAMIN, and in 2020, MAMMA FATALE won Linz Sounds.
